SPECIALISATION

In my professional career, I have specialised in several key areas that allow me to offer comprehensive solutions to complex challenges. As a consultant, I bring not only technical knowledge but also strategic thinking to help companies optimise their processes. My focus is often on the implementation of Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), where I work as an MES / MOM specialist. Here, it is crucial to understand the specific requirements of production and to develop customised solutions that increase efficiency and transparency.

In addition to my role as an MES specialist, I also act as an analyser. In this role, I analyse existing systems and processes in order to identify the overall interaction and potential for improvement. This analytical approach is essential in order to make well-founded decisions and initiate the right measures for optimisation.

As a software developer, I use my technical skills to create robust and user-friendly applications that meet user requirements. In doing so, I work closely with the various stakeholders to ensure that the solutions developed are both functional and sustainable.

It is important to emphasise that every MES project always requires a certain degree of project management. Coordination between different teams, adherence to schedules and budgets as well as risk management are crucial to the success of a project. My experience in these areas enables me to ensure that projects are implemented efficiently and deliver the desired results. My goal is to add value to the companies I work with through my specialisations.

As an IT and OT expert, cyber security is particularly close to my heart. I work to ensure the security of all systems and protect sensitive data. In an increasingly networked world, it is crucial to integrate both IT and OT security strategies. This is the only way we can recognise and ward off potential threats at an early stage.

Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) are critical software solutions used in the manufacturing industry to monitor, control and optimise production processes in real time. In the past, I have worked with various MES platforms that make it possible to increase the efficiency and quality of production.

These systems offer a variety of functions, including the planning and control of production processes, the collection of machine data, the monitoring of workflows and the management of material flows. By integrating MES into existing ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems, companies can create a seamless link between the production and administration levels.

An important aspect of my experience with MES is the ability to analyse real-time data to make informed decisions and identify bottlenecks at an early stage. This not only leads to higher productivity, but also to better quality assurance and a reduction in rejects.

With Ignition, Inductive Automation offers a flexible MES that combines real-time data visualisation, production monitoring and analysis functions. It enables seamless integration into existing systems and promotes efficiency in production.

CAMLINE

Camline offers an MES that optimises manufacturing processes through real-time data analysis, quality management and traceability. The solution supports companies in increasing efficiency and improving production processes.

With the MES ‘Opcenter’, Siemens offers a comprehensive solution for optimising production processes. It integrates real-time data analysis, quality management and resource planning to increase efficiency and flexibility in production.

SOFTWARE DEVELOPER

I have been passionate about programming since 1998 and have gained extensive experience in various programming languages over the years. My core competences include C, .NET, JavaScript and Java, which I have used successfully in numerous projects. I have also worked with APIs to integrate systems and exchange data. SQL, PL is also part of my repertoire, as I work or design exclusively with databases to perform efficient queries and data analyses. I also have experience with modern low-code platforms that allow me to create solutions quickly and efficiently. My wide range of skills and many years of experience make me a flexible and competent developer.

VB.NET, C#

.NET is a framework developed by Microsoft that enables developers to create applications for Windows, web and mobile platforms. It supports several programming languages, including C# and VB.NET, and offers an extensive library and tools for developing, deploying and managing software solutions.

LOWCODE / CAMUNDA

Low-code is a development approach that makes it possible to create applications with minimal programming effort. Visual development tools and prefabricated components enable people without in-depth programming knowledge to develop software. This speeds up the development process and promotes collaboration between specialist departments and IT teams.

JAVA, JSSCRIPT

Java is a widely used, object-orientated programming language that is known for its platform independence. With the motto ‘Write Once, Run Anywhere’, Java enables developers to create applications that run on different devices and operating systems. It is often used for web applications, mobile apps and enterprise software.
